Chili Rice

1 cup of rice, raw 
1 1/4 cup butter 
2 tsp salt 
3 tsp Chili Powder 
Grated cheese (garnish)

Brown rice in butter (or margarine).

Add salt and 2 tsp chili powder.

Pour enough boiling water to cover one inch above rice. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with grated cheese or top with one teaspoon chili powder for garnish.
