Peaches and Cream Ice Cream

This recipe will make enough mixture for an electric ice cream maker. (About a quart)

4 large or 6 or 7 small, very, very ripe peaches
 3/4 cup to 1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk

Wash and peel peaches, removing stone. Place peaches in food processor with sugar and almond extract. Process until in the pureed state.

Place in glass bowl and add cream and milk. Mix with spoon. Place in refrigerator until time to make the ice cream. I always place my ice cream paddle in the refrigerator too.

When you are ready to make the ice cream, pour the mixture into the frozen tub and place the cold paddle in the tub. The tub should be about ¾ full. If you don't have enough mixture, pour in a little more milk. Follow the ice cream maker's instructions. The ice cream should make in about 20 minutes.
