The Settler's Garden, a demonstration planting at Tejas Gardens, shows the same plants that early Texas Settlers would have used in their gardens.

Some of the plants grown in this garden are Harrison's Yellow Rose, Mexican Brush Sage, Love Lies Bleeding, Red Salvia, Old Blush Rose, Mexican Mint Marigold, Pineapple Sage, French Marigold and False Dragonhead.
